Recently, I upgraded my iPhone and iPad to iOS 26.0, but personally, I have a few complaints.
Compared to iOS 18, it certainly feels like it looks cleaner, but there are way too many system bugs.
I feel like battery consumption has increased and the performance has become sluggish (on my iPhone 16 Pro).
The text alignment for the low battery notification in the Japanese environment hasn’t been adjusted either.

Even considering that the Apple icon has a bite out of it, isn’t this simply too big?
Sometimes, putting an app in a folder prevents Dark Mode from applying, and restarting the device doesn’t fix it. (The app itself does have a Dark Mode icon.)

The inconsistent background transparency of the app folders also feels awkward. Isn’t there a better way to do this?

Of course, there are plenty of good points as well. The feature I was happiest about this time is that image previews are finally supported in SMB folders.
However, it looks like it will still take a long time before this system becomes completely comfortable to use.
Apple, having completely lost the AI race, please at least protect the OS you pride yourselves on.
